Dominika Býmová at ALTOS clinic
I have been struggling for a few years to remove a tattoo that clings to me like a tick. I got the tattoo done a long time ago, and the older I get, the more uncomfortable I feel with it.
Dominika, we would like to learn more about you. You are beautiful, talented, with many interesting performances in theater and television, and you run a blog. You founded the fashion brand WhiteSage, with models made from organic materials.
Do you find time for your hobbies amidst this pace?
I am incredibly lucky that my work is also my hobby. But the truth is that I have less and less free time, and after a few days of constant hustle, I miss a little time for myself. However, I am happy this way, and after the premiere I have on March 20 at the Musical Theatre Karlín, there will be time for sleep too.
Do you follow any motto in your life?
With humility. And also, don’t elevate yourself above anyone, and don’t belittle anyone!
Do you have any tips to recommend to women on how to look good or what not to forget in self-care?
Oh, how I would love to advise getting enough sleep. But I have a bit of a problem with that myself. And while it is essential to age gracefully, it is very important to help nature a little and take care of oneself. I can be as tired as I want, but I always make sure to remove my makeup thoroughly and drink warm water with lemon every morning. It wonderfully prepares the body for a new day.
Aesthetic medicine includes many methods for rejuvenation, improving appearance, addressing skin issues, and body firming, etc. What is your opinion on this topic?
I don’t condemn anything that makes a woman happier. Nowadays, there are many methods to help regain lost self-confidence, but one must not go overboard.
What treatments have you tried with us?
For a few years, I’ve been struggling to remove a tattoo that clings to me like a tick. I got the tattoo done a long time ago, and the older I got, the less comfortable I felt with it. Plus, it’s very impractical to cover up the image before every performance or filming. I can’t wait to be free from this.
How do you handle the pace of television and media? Where do you draw your energy from?
Fortunately, I have plenty of energy; I am very active and recharge myself in a way. But even I occasionally feel fatigue, and when that happens, I love to treat myself to a massage or go to the sauna.
What brings you the most joy in life?
Life itself.
