Contraindications

We do not recommend performing the Ulthera treatment in cases of open wounds at the treatment site or inflammatory processes, which also includes severe forms of acne. Treatment also should not be undergone in cases of skin burns and in the following situations:

Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Infectious and inflammatory diseases
Diabetes
Epilepsy

How the treatment is performed

Ulthera therapy involves ultrasound acting on the connective tissue, muscle framework of the face and epidermis. During the procedure, the connective and muscle structures are influenced by temperature, stimulating their contraction, which leads to the lifting of facial contours and skin tightening. The ultrasound’s effect on the skin promotes the production of collagen and elastin fibers, resulting in skin renewal, firmness, and toning.

During the procedure, the doctor can view all skin layers on a monitor and control the depth of the ultrasound impacts. The procedure takes only forty minutes. After the session, the patient can immediately return to their normal routine, with no recovery time required.
