The retinol peeling, also known as the yellow peeling, like other types of peels, focuses on the renewal and improvement of the skin’s condition. However, retinol peeling fundamentally differs in its mechanism of action on the skin. Unlike other types of peels, retinol peeling does not remove the upper layer of dead skin and does not communicate directly with the cells of the surface layer of the skin. The purpose of this peeling is to target the deeper layer of the skin—the basal layer—where new cells are formed.
It effectively acts as an antioxidant, providing brightness and overall smoothing of the skin’s surface.

How the treatment is performed
On cleansed and degreased skin, the retinol peel is applied and left to act for 15-20 minutes. Depending on the klient’s need, the peel may be applied in one or multiple layers. After the procedure, the peel is neutralized with a special agent that has a neutral pH.
