IPL photo rejuvenation
Photo rejuvenation using IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is an innovative device method that combats skin aging related to age and various skin imperfections.
IPL, or intense pulsed light, emits a specific form of light energy that effectively reduces fine wrinkles, pigmentation spots, enlarged vessels, and redness.
This modern and non-invasive procedure uses dispersed light that penetrates up to the second layer of the skin (dermis) without damaging the epidermis, the outer layer of the skin. The treatment can be applied to any body area, making it a versatile method for improving skin appearance.
During the procedure, deeper layers of the skin are heated, stimulating the collagen and elastin production. This process leads to firming and rejuvenating the skin, improving its texture and appearance. Results are visible after the first treatment, with the effect gradually improving in the following weeks.
The procedure is generally painless and requires minimal recovery time, making it an ideal choice for clients seeking an effective way to enhance their skin appearance without surgery.

How the treatment is performed
Photo rejuvenation can be performed on any skin type. The particular device allows for individual adjustment of depth, strength, and duration of action. One session lasts fifteen to forty minutes, with the number of sessions determined during treatment.
During the therapy, the patient feels warmth in the treated area; the procedure is not accompanied by pain or a burning sensation, so anesthesia is not needed.
Laser used
At our clinic, the procedure is performed using the Synchro Repla:Y laser from the Italian manufacturer DEKA. The system offers the widest range of wavelengths: Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and pulsed lamps. Synchro REPLA:Y is the fastest and most powerful laser with one of the largest laser spots on the market. Deep laser action is maintained and optimized at the surface thanks to the FT pulsed light attachment.
The versatile FT lamp can be connected to the system at any time, enhancing the ability to treat superficial vascular and pigmented lesions. The FT lamp covers a large treatment area (6.3 cm2), which can be cooled to 4 °C. Additionally, the special configuration of the system allows the physician to change the wavelength filter to adjust the light emission according to the treatment and skin type of the patient. There are also special filters available that limit the treatment area to 3.1 cm2 to tailor the emission for smaller areas.
This is an invaluable and extremely flexible working tool for dermatological and cosmetic needs, including vascular treatment, epilation, non-ablative skin rejuvenation, and removal of pigmented lesions with consistently excellent results.
Before the procedure
No special preparation is required.
After the procedure
The recovery period does not require any special therapeutic measures. After rejuvenation, there may be redness of the skin and slight swelling, which is a natural reaction of the skin to light radiation. For two weeks following the procedure, it is recommended to use sun protection products.
