Diamond microdermabrasion
Diamond microdermabrasion abrades the upper layer of the skin, cleansing it and reducing fine wrinkles, scars, pigmentation spots and enlarged pores.
Diamond microdermabrasion is beneficial for acne-prone skin due to its various grit levels. It is performed on specific areas such as the face, neck, décolleté, or backs of the hands, effectively removing dead skin cells. After application, there is an increase in new collagen fibers and improved blood circulation in the skin.
Microdermabrasion, also known as micro-polishing, is an effective mechanical peeling that removes dead skin cells and enhances the skin’s appearance. Using a modern device with diamond tips leads not only to achievment of visible improvement of the skin, but also to preparing of the skin for further cosmetic treatments, increasing its ability to absorb active ingredients. Unlike classic dermabrasion, diamond microdermabrasion is non-invasive and painless, making it a popular choice for skin treatment.
The procedure involves gentle peeling, with the best results noticeable in patients showing the first signs of skin aging. Treatment can be applied to both the face and areas such as the décolleté and back that require improvement in appearance.
Like other peels, microdermabrasion triggers skin regeneration and stimulates the collagen and elastin production, providing rejuvenating effects after just two to three sessions. The result of diamond microdermabrasion is fresh, smooth, and youthful skin.

Frequently asked questions
Contraindications
- Diamond microdermabrasion has a crucial advantage as there are practically no contraindications for the procedure
- It is suitable for both men and women, but those with enlarged veins should consider it carefully
- Complications are usually not a concern; some patients report increased sensitivity to sunlight and dry skin
How the treatment is performed
The procedure requires a particular vacuum suction device to remove the abraded skin cells. Microdermabrasion is not painful, so there is no need to apply anesthesia. Immediately after the treatment, which lasts approximately 30-40 minutes, soothing and hydrating masks are applied to the treated areas of the skin.
For several days after the procedure, protecting the skin from direct sunlight is necessary. The standard course of microdermabrasion includes 4-6 sessions, which are performed at intervals of one to two weeks.
Combined with diamond microdermabrasion, other cosmetic procedures, such as mesotherapy, plasmolifting, and biorevitalization, are successfully used.
After the procedure
Complications are usually not a concern; however, some patients report increased sensitivity to sunlight and dry skin.
